Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT was set up in 2007<\/strong> on the initiative of Fondazione CRT, as a mission-related investment<\/strong>, the recipient of Fondazione CRT’s grant assets, used for social impact investments<\/strong> with a view to capital turnover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In its 18 years of existence<\/strong>, Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT has dedicated significant resources to social real estate funds and to funds investing in companies with social aims. The aim is to improve the range of services offered and to foster the growth of a social entrepreneurial ecosystem<\/strong> by providing adequate resources, but also by stimulating the entrepreneurial<\/strong> spirit, using patient capital. A gradual accompaniment that aims at the capacity to sustain itself and evolve towards a fair and sustainable business model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Social impact investments are made in companies, organisations and funds with the intention of generating both social and environmental impact with an economic return on investment and concretely supporting solutions <\/strong>to the most pressing challenges by addressing unmet social needs. The social sector needs models of innovation and entrepreneurship<\/strong> to find new solutions for the delivery of existing services and to develop new solutions of common interest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. A hallmark of impact investing is the investor\u2019s commitment to measure and report on social and environmental performance<\/strong>, which contributes to transparency. The aim is to use economic resources and private expertise to promote market solutions to social needs that are not addressed by the state or the market.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Impact investing successfully combines a number of key factors<\/strong>: capital, entrepreneurship, both management and financial expertise, a focus on results and partnership between investors and entrepreneurs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
